*cough*

Hey guys. Again, sorry I've been kind of.. Silent lately, I just haven't really been bothered to blog. At all.

This week I've been doing work experience (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's when you get a week off school to work at a place of your choice for a week) at my hairdresser. Nooo, I have no plans on being a hairdresser at all. I just liked who would be my boss and it seemed like it wouldn't be too bad. It's... Pretty shit. Hooray for sweeping hair? Haha, of course I knew I'd be stuck cleaning, but honestly, it gets pretty excruciatingly boring, and my boss, Dee, is a little bit.. of a bitch. She's 23, very, very naive (gaaawd it pisses me off, naive people), and is a 12 year old at heart. Very immature. Don't get me wrong, she's lovely, very sweet girl, just she's very anal about everything, if I even fold the towels the "wrong" way she gets a rod up her arse. She can be a bit unfair, too, she'll tell me to do something, then just get all annoyed at me when she decides I shouldn't have done it for whatever reason. Hey, I'm just following orders.

Still, I could think of much worse places to work at... I got a free eyebrow wax! I was previously a virgin to waxing of any kind, I was surprised at how little it hurt (the plucking of the stray hairs hurt more than the waxing!). I was surprised at the temperature of the wax, too. Afterwards, it felt like I had no eyebrows at all! For awhile, anyway.

I'm pleased I didn't have to bother going to work today, though, I've developed a case of tonsilitis over the past week; the damn things seem to do me more harm than good. I used to get it pretty chronically when I was little, 4 - 6, then I never got it until I was 12 or so.. It just keeps coming back, I swear!! I remember when I was 5, my doctor (who developed a serious hate for my tonsils) said to my other doctor, "Ugh, if I had the right implements I'd take them out myself!" and my other doctor strongly disagreed, saying that they do have a purpose and removal of the tonsils is not a particuarly beneficial practise. Apparently they won't do it at all these days..

Either way, I'm still pretty happy.

    Hey Mez,
nice to see you. Funny you talk about the hairdresser, I wanted to be one when I was cough younger!! But I didn’t like the idea of being a saloon slave for 2 years while I got qualified.

Oh and the tonsills sorry to hear it. Miss 8 actually had tonsilitis 9 times in the year when she was 5, finally a week after she turned 6 we got them taken out.

Hope the rest of your week is good.

    Ahh, hey E2S!

I never wanted to be one, just because I’d prefer to put my natural skills to the test.

9 times? Yeesh!! It always seems to happen when we’re young.

Ah, yep, that Macca’s is the one near Fez’s house! Awesome.
    One day :P
